Thanksgiving

today is a new experience for me. we are not having thanksgiving at my house or that of a family member. we are going to a friends house and all i have to bring is a pecan pie and roasted veggies. part of me is sad to not be with my family on this holiday, but i still feel like my heart will burst with what i am thankful for.

i am thankful for the sound of running feet at 6 a.m as my little ones climb into my bed to snuggle
i am thankful for how their little heads and bodies are the perfect fit to me
i am thankful for the laughter and imagination that fills my house everyday
for the way my girls yell "DADDY" and run to the door when hubby comes home
i am thankful for my best friend and soulmate who brought me coffee and a rose this morning
i am thankful for my  friends
they are precious to me
i am thankful for the chaos of toys that i trip over and the games my girls play with them
i am thankful for the silly tears i've choked on this morning watching the parade on t.v with my girls
my cup runneth over

i am thankful for her
she is serving me breakfast right now
i am thankful for her
her mind amazes me along with her sweet spirit
i am thankful for her
this little creature is pure joy, love, & laughter
i am thankful for him
he is the most amazing husband and father

Cupcakes

I have done 100 posts as of my last one. I know that is not a huge milestone like 1,000 or so, but for me... I'm excited. I have FINALLY downloaded all of the pictures from all of my adventures and am ready to get busy. Since I have to rush out the door to torture train some of my friends; I'll leave you with this sweet treat I was given.

I have a new friend here in AC. She is also a Vegas expat. Her name is Kathryn and she loves to bake. Which makes me happy because the girl CAN bake. These little delights are pistachio cupcakes with rose-water icing that she whipped up just because. Then she sent some home to me. Thankfully she also included some mini cupcakes so I could eat one before working out. Heaven. Pure, sweet, perfect baked goodness.

So much to share

I have had an amazing almost 2 weeks with my mother here. I was sad to see her go even though she will be back in 4 short (or long) weeks- depending on how you look at it.
I promise I will get pictures and details up soon about what going on in South Jersey.
But in the mean time...
I found an amazing chiropractor.
I am in the process of starting a fabulous project that I will need everyones help with.
I cut my hair even more- and love it.
I've got my wheels turning about how to decorate for Christmas.
I'm planning a spa get away with friends.
And a girls night out for my upcoming b-day.
